I like helping my friends and people in my community, especially when it brings a smile to their face. I dislike people who act differently just to impress someone and who are not true to themselves.
Favourite Activities:
Playing field hockey and other team sports; playing guitar; drawing; reading and watching movies.
What girl !mpact has meant to me so far: I’ve always tried to look far beyond the present, even with the simplest of things. I’ve been planning my future step by step for as long as I can remember. I had my high school courses picked before I knew which high school I was going to. My goal has always been to do something great with my passions, and be someone who is known for their triumphs and successes. I have the road to my future paved before me; a path that will lead me to making a difference. I like to dream big, but in the end I’m a realist, so I never thought that I’d be able to make an impact this early on in my life’s journey. Girl Impact has given me the opportunity of a lifetime to be able to travel to another country and make a difference in someone else’s life. Girl Impact has opened my eyes to even bigger possibilities for my future. Since becoming a G! I’ve uncovered a new found self confidence that otherwise would not have been tapped into. I’m grateful everyday to Girl Impact, not simply for the opportunities that it has provided me, but also for the opportunities and advances that will be given to the girls in Kenya that are in the most need of a little extra self confidence and push to a greater future.
